Every year, it is my honor and privilege to design the costumes for me and 3 of my BFFS (Annie, Al, and Juliette...IYKYK).

I constructed the Bert and Ernie masks from foam paper, playground balls, other types of foam that I found in random stores near my house, and other found objects, such as sunglasses (for structural support).

The Oscar the Grouch costume is made from similar found objects combined with this foundational Ghillie Suit!!!!

fun fact: originally I planned to wear stilts as Big Bird. I could not safely master the stilts in time. My friends all took that as a challenge! The party quickly devolved into a most dangerous stilts-learning group session!
